1. Definition of CV and Resume

CV (Curriculum Vitae) is a summarized of your life; everything you has studied, all the conferences you has been to, the skill you obtained, and a list of your publication. Resume is a short, straight-to-the-point, document created for the purpose of applying to a specific job.

        3. Sentences/ Clause/Expressions in CV and Resume

a.      Highly experienced

Your experiences doing different jobs or related to your job you’re applying for, and a lot of years of your experience.

Example: “I am highly experienced for drawing in Autocad”

b.      Motivated

You are enthusiastic about completing a task or a job

Example: “I was motivated to apply for this job is because it’s great opportunity for my career”

c.      Professional

Competent, organised, effective, and reliable manner.

Example: “I am such a professional person, I could handle myself at clien presemtation”

    Halo semua! Kembali lagi nih ke blog saya. Kali ini kita akan membahas tentang job interview. Sebelum masuk ke apa saja yang ada pada job interview, kita perlu memahami dulu apa itu job interview. Yuk disimak

      1. Understanding job interview

      A job interview is a process which a potential employee gets evaluated by an employer from a company, a firm, or an organization. During the interview, a potential employee is asked about the resume and are judged by their decency, appearance, and their confidence answered the questions.  

           Nah, pada job interview calon pekerja akan ditanyai berkaitan dengan resume yang mereka buat. Apa aja sih pertanyaan itu? Mari disimak ada cara menjawabnya juga lho.

2. Questions and how to answer

    ·       “Tell me about yourself/your work experience”

First impression is a key. To begin answer this question, you have to answer it brief and confidence. Give an example of achievement and skills you’ve picked. Don’t get to much detail, the interviewer will expand the question if it is necessary.    

     ·       “Why do you want this job?”

To answer this question, you have to do some research about the job and the company and the reason why you match with them. 

     ·       “What are your salary expectation?”

Be flexible, it’s important to know the value of your skills and it is a right opportunity to negotiate and confirm the value of position you applied.

    Untuk menjawab pertanyaan pertanyaan pada interview, lebih bagus lagi jika kalian mengetahui dan menerapkan etiquette berikut ini

Mari mengerti cara menulis Application Letter

Apa sih application letter itu? Sebelum masuk ke pembahasan kalian perlu tau definisi application letter itu. Application letter adalah surat lamaran pekerjaan untuk menjelaskan kemampuanmu sebagai pelamar. Di application letter, kamu harus bisa menjabarkan kemampuanmu

Nah sekarang kalian udah tau penjelasan tentang application letter nih, selanjutnya kalian harus tau apa saja yang perlu diketahui untuk menulis application letter.

           Fungsi dari application letter juga penting untuk kalian ketahui, fungsi fungsinya sebagai berikut:

1. Function

    Application letter has 3 functions:

      a. As a written proof when applying for a job

      b. As a means of communication

      c. As a consideration for the employer

           

    Setelah kalian mengetahui fungsi-fungsinya, kita masuk ke bagian bagian application letter itu sendiri. Yuk disimak:

    a. The information that should include in cover letter.

- Self information

- Date.

- Contact Person's Name, Title, Employer, and Address.

    b. Salutation.

    c. Opening Paragraph.

    d. Middle Paragraph.

    e. Second Middle Paragraph.

    f. Contact Information and Closing.

         

   Di application letter ada ekspresi yang umumnya digunakan untuk menulis application letter. Contohnya sebagai berikut:

“I am writing to apply for the position of….”

           e. Closing Statement

“I appreciate your consideration for this application and look forward to hearing from you.”

Pengalaman Praktik Kerja Lapangan 6 Bulan

 

    

Setiap per semester SMK biasanya akan ada sesi PKL (Praktik Kerja Lapangan). Siswa dikirmkan ke industri untuk menerima pembelajaran di lapangan pekerjaan secara langsung. Siswa diminta untuk belajar sebannyak banyaknya dari pelaku industri terkait secara langsung agar mengetahui bagaimana mereka akan bekerja nanti.

       

Aku memilih untuk PKl di Mimar Arsitek di Pedurungan. Mimar Arsitek adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang desain rumah dan juga mereka memiliki Ahli sipil yang juga kompeten untuk masalah lapangan.

Aku belajar banyak dari Prakerin disitu. Aku bisa menguasai rendering 3D dan juga menguasai autocad. Aku juga banyak mempelajari jenis jenis material. Itulah pengalamanku selama PKL
